Newsweek highlights Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s Turnaround Strategy
Our partner district Charlotte-Mecklenburg was featured in Newsweek for its “Strategic Staffing Initiative,” a district-wide effort for turning around its lowest performing schools. The strategy involves moving the system’s top talent to focus on their toughest challenges with full district leadership support. The initial results are promising.
