Zlati supports the implementation of our overall strategy for technology-based tools to help schools and districts improve their resource use. She coordinates with ERS’ technology vendors on software development, testing the tools throughout the development process to ensure that they are practical in the field when they are complete. Zlati also maintains our network computing infrastructure.
Previously, Zlati worked at Tom Snyder Productions, an educational software development company now part of Scholastic, creating programs for K-12 students in all subjects. She streamlined the testing process and developed various databases and scripts to maintain high quality software. After completing an MBA program, she spent some time in sales and marketing, analyzing potential markets.
Out of work, Zlati is involved in the teacher-parent organization at Hosmer Elementary School and serves on the board of Smith College Club of Cambridge. In her free time she likes to cook, read, do projects with her children, play piano, draw, and stay active by biking and doing yoga.
