Genevieve Quist Green

Principal Associate

Genevieve joins ERS as a Principal Associate. Prior to ERS she served as Massachusetts Policy Director at the advocacy organization Stand for Children, where she lobbied for state policies aimed at increasing education funding and improving educator quality. Genevieve is also a former middle school English teacher. While she was a teacher in Los Angeles, Genevieve wrote curriculum guides and provided training to novice Corps Members in Teach For America. She later attended the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Scholarship and earned a Doctorate in Social Policy. Her doctoral research focused on urban redevelopment and school choice under the federal HOPE VI housing program.

Genevieve is a resident of Cambridge, MA and enjoys exploring New England with her husband Tom. She loves the ocean and being on the coast. Genevieve is proud to come from a family of educators- her grandmother, mother and mother-in-law were public school teachers and her father-in-law is a former school principal.
