Funmi joins us as a Principal Associate. Before working at ERS, Funmi did internal strategy consulting and marketing finance for Sears Holdings, a Fortune 500 retail company. She also co-founded and was executive director for a non-profit company whose mission is to educate, empower, and equip immigrant students of African descent on academic, career, and financial issues. Funmi attended Yale School of Management for business school, and was a consultant at Accenture right out of undergrad.
When not analyzing school resources, Funmi is heavily involved in children and young adult ministries at her church; she is the co-zonal coordinator for Youth Ministry for seventeen parishes in Massachusetts! She loves writing and acting in plays, and her ideal day is spending time with her husband and young daughter watching Netflix movies and eating decadent food.
