ERS Team Member

Christopher Lewis

Associate

617.600.7591

Chris’ analytic work includes deep dives into district budgets, course schedules, and payroll files to build a resource map that tells districts how they are using their resources. Since joining ERS in 2010, he has focused on doing a Human Resources analysis in Atlanta.

Prior to joining ERS, Chris worked for College Summit, a non-profit that helps boost college enrollment rates and create college-going cultures in schools and districts. As a Project Manager, he introduced new technologies and tools to internal staff and external partners in order to improve the organization’s processes and impact. He bookended his four years at College Summit with two stints with D.C. Public Schools, first teaching 8th grade math through Teach For America, and later designing and creating an alternate procurement process for materials and services at the Office of Special Education. While in graduate school, Chris co-chaired the annual Yale School of Management Education Leadership Conference.

Chris is an avid soccer player and fan—on a Saturday morning, you can either find him out on a soccer field or in a local Irish pub watching his beloved Liverpool. When he’s not playing or watching soccer, Chris likes running on the Charles River Reservation path and exploring Boston with his wife Sara. Chris also loves to sing. He has been performing with many groups since he was young, and has recently joined the Cambridge Revels.
