Alex works on both product development and service delivery. On the development side, Alex is collaborating with Atlanta to develop a teaching effectiveness dashboard to help inform administrators and district leaders as they make data-driven human capital management decisions. He also works with partner districts to do resource analysis of their current spending patterns and help uncover opportunities to improve their allocation of time, money, and attention.
Prior to ERS, Alex was a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company in San Francisco, CA. At Bain he was responsible for developing long-range strategic plans for Fortune 500 companies on how to allocate resources to improve operations and invest for the future. Clients included a large computer hardware manufacturer looking to identify and address skill gaps in their current operations that could put them at risk for expected market changes; a regional utility that was looking to measure quality and save costs; and private equity funds that needed to validate key drivers for potential investments.
Alex loves being in the outdoors, and spends his weekends camping, running, and rock climbing. When not outside, he’s trying to figure out how to make the perfect pizza (in a home kitchen) to win a wager with a college roommate.
